Tom Hartel Iii

Tom Hartel III, age 57, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on July 29, 2014 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of Thomas John Hartel Jr. and Eileen Lydia (Newcomb) Hartel of Havre de Grace, MD. He was a GM Master World Class Technician and worked as an Automotive Instructor at CCBC. He was voted Teacher of the Year from all of the colleges in the Northeast Region. A member of the Harley Davidson National Chapter, he enjoyed going to Bike Week each year in Ocean City.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cheryl L. (Cerruto) Hartel; son, Michael D. Hartel of Forest Hill and sister, Karyn L. Hoffman of Forest Hill. He was predeceased by his daughter, Nicole Lynn Hartel.
