Thelma May Laplante

Thelma May LaPlante, age 59, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on March 25, 2022 at University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of James and Catherine (Anderson) Hagin and wife of Walter LaPlante.

She loved eating her crabs, the beach, camping and traveling with her husband. They drove to the west coast and back in 2015 camping all the way.  She was a former volunteer tutor for Maryland School for the Blind, Baltimore County Public Schools and Hawthorne Elementary School.  She was a 1980 graduate of Parkville High School.    

In addition to her husband, Thelma is survived by two sons, David and his wife Jamie LaPlante and James G. LaPlante; grandchildren, Tyler and Travis LaPlante and Megan and Andrew Guthrie; brother, James and his wife Anita Hagin, Jr.; other extended family including Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.
