Stephen "Steve" E. Hanson

Stephen "Steve" E. Hanson, age 66, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on December 6, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Emmord Edwin and June Patricia Glaser Hanson. He helped his family run the award winning Bonnie Brae Dairy Farm, which has been in the family since the 1700's. He received his FCC license at the age of 16 and had worked at AT&T for over 20 years where he helped bring them into the computer age. He could solve any puzzle and never saw a machine he couldn't fix, especially tractors. He also loved restoring cars and, as a hobby, became a certified mechanic.

Mr. Hanson is survived by his children, Leah A. Hanson of Madison, WI, Joanna L. Hanson of Philadelphia, PA and George E. Hanson of Hillsboro, NJ; brother, Andrew S. Hanson of Glen Rock, PA; sister, Martha S. Hanson of Edgewood; and nieces and nephews, Kelly, Scott and Sarah.

Services will be private.
