Sherman G. Fuller

Sherman G. Fuller, 72, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on January 18, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Level, MD, he was the son of the late Walter Fred and Virginia Pearl Sexton Fuller. A veteran, he served during the Vietnam War where he received the Distinguished Service Cross. He was a member of the Havre de Grace VFW and American Legion. His 30 year Civil Service career included time at Aberdeen Proving Ground and the Churchville Tank Test Course. He had also worked as a mechanic and truck driver for Maryland Paving and Penhall Company, and was an avid hunter. He loved all kids, especially his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Fuller is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Sue Vass Fuller; son, Sherman Kevin Fuller of Bel Air; daughter, Kristy B. Tharpe and husband, Neil, of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Chase M. Fuller and Lane A. Tharpe; brothers, Fred R. Fuller of Churchville, Harry E. Fuller of Havre de Grace, Steve Fuller of Orlando, FL and Donny Fuller of Bel Air; and sisters, Ella Mae Fadeley of Churchville and Linda Eades of Darlington.

Pallbearers will be Danny P. Vass, Dennis L. Vass, Neil Tharpe, Kevin Fuller, Harry Fuller and Lane Tharpe.
