Roy Lee Yon

ROY LEE YON, age 79, of Abingdon, died on December 12, 2005 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center-Bayview. Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of the late James Arthur Yon and Obie Carlton Yon. He was a test engineer for the US Government and served in the US Army.

Mr. Yon is survived by his wife, Madeline Louise Chalone Yon of Abingdon; two sons, Michael D. Yon of New York City, and Frank E. Yon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one daughter, Sharon L. Yon of Tempe, AZ; and two grandchildren, Taylor Leigh Yon, and Kelsie Louise Yon, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
