Rose Marie Blevins

November 20, 1938 — January 22, 2022

Rose Marie (Norman) Blevins, age 83, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 22, 2022. She was born in Fountain Green, MD and resided in Harford County her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nora (Higgins) Norman and wife of the late Richard Lee Blevins. She graduated from Bel Air High School in 1956. She was an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She devoted her life to raising her family to include being an integral part of the family farm and managing the administrative aspects of her husband’s business. On the farm, she never missed cooking a meal, preparing multiple meals per day for extended family and farmhands. Her cooking was well known and never went without compliments. No one ever left the table hungry. She loved Ocean City, MD and enjoyed their vacation home as often as time would allow. The beach was her happy place. Together with her husband, they never missed an opportunity to watch the Orioles, Maryland Terps Basketball, or a Ravens game. She loved to travel with her husband, family and friends. She was an active member of the Red Hats Society for many years. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to gather with the family. Playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy were always favorites.

Rose is survived by her sons, Kenneth N. Blevins and his wife Cindy of Forest Hill, MD, Rodney L. Blevins and his wife Nancy of Bel Air, MD, Timothy A.
