Rosalie (Polly) Moore Rawle

ROSALIE (POLLY) MOORE RAWLE, age 80, of Baltimore, died at Roland Park Place, Baltimore, on October 4, 2003. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Gibbons and Rosalie Shannon Bowerman Moore, and the wife of the late Harvey Shelby Rawle. A resident of Joppa for 50 years, she was a lifetime member of the P.T.A., treasurer of the Little Gunpowder Improvement Association, and active in fundraising for Harford Day School for many years. She was a partner in the Harvey S. Rawle, Inc. Sewage System Contractors.

Mrs. Rawle is survived by two sons, Richard S. Rawle of West Melbourne, Florida; James W. Rawle of Baltimore; two daughters, Marjorie Rawle Jones of Alexandria, Virginia; Sally C. Rawle Settle of Arnold, Maryland; and 13 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Mary L. Rawle; and one brother, Gibbons Moore, Jr.

Pallbearers were: Dave Winnie, Jacob Settle, Brien Kehoe, David Burley, Alfred Calabria, Gene Shaw, Rob Jones, and Werner Unzelman.
