Rosa Hubbard

Rosa Hubbard, born June 17, 1940 to parents Dagmar (Nilsen) and Fred Rueckert in Baltimore, passed away May 13, 2022 at her residence at the OakCrest retirement community in Parkville.

A graduate of Eastern High School 1959 and Church Home and Hospital School of Nursing 1962, she was the school nurse at Fallston High School for 25 years 1977-2002. She was selected as the Harford County School Nurse of the Year in 1997. 

She was a resident of Fallston for over 50 years until moving to OakCrest in five years ago.  She was a member of the Nordkap Lodge of the Sons of Norway, reflecting the heritage of her Norwegian-born mother. 

Rosa was predeceased by her husband Glenn Hubbard and her daughter Julie (Debes) Wilcox. She is survived by her two grandsons William (Liam) Wilcox IV, Callum (Cal) Wilcox, son-in-law William (Will) Wilcox and his wife LeeAnn, a daughter and the four grandchildren of her late husband Glenn, brothers Nils and Jon Rueckert and their families, and many friends in the Fallston and Oak Crest communities.
