Roger Lee Steelman

ROGER LEE STEELMAN, age 55, of Churchville, died on December 20, 2005 at Harford Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Harford County, born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late Eugene Fletcher Steelman and Oda Rose Edwards Steelman. He graduated from Bel Air High School in 1968, and was a self-employed. He enjoyed shooting pool as a member of a pool league, and singing karaoke. He was known to help anyone in need, and enjoyed taking his grandchildren to King’s Dominion.

Mr. Steelman is survived by his wife, Peggy Lee Scott Steelman, of Belcamp; one son, Joseph E. Steelman, and his wife Erica, of Havre de Grace; one daughter, Amy Lynn Steelman, and her fiancé, Larry Stansbury, of Havre de Grace; six brothers, Alvin Steelman of Havre de Grace, James Steelman of Orlando, FL, William Steelman of Bel Air, Johnny Steelman, Ronnie Steelman, and Larry Steelman, all of Havre de Grace; two sisters, Nellie Marie Anderson of Havre de Grace, and Peggy Fink of Bel Air; four grandchildren, Tjart Steelman of Abingdon, Joshua Steelman, Sabrina Frink, and Brooke Blackney, all of Havre de Grace; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Patty Sue Steelman.

Serving as pallbearers are Clifton Nyquist, Chris Steelman, Sidney Steelman, Billy Steelman, Gary Anderson, Tony Steelman, and Johnnie Fink.
