Robert R. Mccasland

Robert R. McCasland, age 74, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on April 12, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Bristol, CT, he was the son of the late Raymond Efrem and Anna Root McCasland. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked as an auto repair mechanic. He was a NASCAR fan who always rooted for Dale Ernhardt Jr. He also enjoyed watching television and being in control of the remote.

Mr. McCasland is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Miller McCasland; daughter, Robin Ann Hawks and husband, Jerry, of Aberdeen; sisters, Patricia Curtis of NC and Donna DeVivo of NY; and grandchildren, Corey Elizabeth Hawks, Kyle Hawks and Kelly Hawks. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Rob McCasland.
