Robert J. Smith

ROBERT J. SMITH, age 63, of Edgewood, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on October 29, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George and Lida Catherine Drane Smith. He worked for the Mass Transit Administration of Baltimore as a money vault puller. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Edgewood.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 43 years as of June 18, 2003, Levada M. Chadwell Smith; one son, Steven R. Smith of Edgewood; two daughters, Lisa D. Butler of Edgewood; Kim A. Cowan of Edgewood; one brother, Lee G. Smith of Abingdon; one sister, Eileen Guillory of Port St. Joe, Florida; and 10 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Karen O’Brien and one sister, Doris C. Albrecht.

Pallbearers will be: Tom Cowan, Richard Butler, Robert Smith, James Burns, Lee Smith, and William Burns.
