Robert Gwynn Dixon

Robert Gwynn Dixon, age 75, of Churchville, MD passed away on June 3, 2018 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Bel Air, MD, he was the son of Mack and Dorothy Mabel (Henderson) Dixon. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Germany. He belonged to Churchville Lions Club. He owned and operated Gwynn Dixon Construction. He loved crabbing, camping, Nascar, and turkey shoots. He also enjoyed watching the Orioles, Ravens, and Westerns, Gunsmoke was his favorite show. Gwynn enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rachel E. Dixon; two daughters, Tammy Ava Severn (John), Tonya Dixon; two brothers, Stanley F. Dixon and Gary Mack Dixon; sister, Carol J. Gladden; seven grandchildren, Ashley Gwynn Mager, Courtney Lynn Hare, Shannon Leigh Hare, Lacey Michele Church, Travis Mac Dixon, Cameron Andrew Dixon and Samantha Lynn Dixon; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Allen Dixon, and his sister, Joyce Marie Hess.
