Richard T. Cox Sr.

Richard T. Cox, Sr, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 87 on November 3, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. He was born in Baltimore to William and Gertrude (Schneider) Cox and was the husband of the late Mercedes B.L. Cox. He was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and had worked for the City of Baltimore for 27 years in their Department of Public Works. He enjoyed photography, model airplanes and was involved with Boy Scout Pack #777.

Survivors include his children, Richard James Cox of Pittsburgh, PA, Richard T. Cox Jr. of Frederick, John L. Cox of Cape Cod, MA and Anne-Marie Race of Baltimore; grandchildren, Emma Cox, Jenny Cox, Richard Cox III, Heidi Cox, Sam Cox, Becca Cox and Clara Cox; and 7 great-grandchildren.
