Richard Edward ''Rick'' Kutchey

Richard Edward "Rick" Kutchey, age 70, of Abingdon, MD passed away on May 25, 2013. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late John Bernard and Helen Ida Strychacz Kutchey. Rick was a graduate of University of Baltimore and worked as a business administrator, retiring in 2007.

Rick loved fishing and boating on the Chesapeake and spending time with Donna, his wife of 46 years. He appreciated all aspects of life and was adored by his four granddaughters. His infectious spirit and generosity touched so many lives.

Rick is survived by his wife, Donna Kutchey; son, Richard John Kutchey of Washington, DC; daughters, Christine Marie Leodler and husband, Karl, of Westminster, MD and Kelly Anne Long and husband, James, of Forest Hill, MD; brothers, John Robert Kutchey and Ronald Stephen Kutchey; sisters, Dolores Reilly and Sharon Branagan; and granddaughters, Clare, Jenna, Katelyn and Abby. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Joan Hopper, Betty Owings and Janice Lazernick.
