Rev. Raymond B. Cuffley Sr.

REV. RAYMOND B. CUFFLEY SR., age 76, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on July 14, 2007 at his home. Born in Lansdowne, MD, he was the son of the late Dewey Leroy Cuffley Sr. and the late Clara Catherine Rosenburg Cuffley, and husband of the late Edith M. Anderson Cuffley. For 34 years he served as a minister, pastoring at St. John’s Baptist Association in Havre de Grace, MD, Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Rising Sun, MD, and Dublin Missionary Baptist in Darlington, MD. A truck driver for the State of Maryland, he was a charter member of Level Volunteer Fire Company and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Cuffley is survived by three sons, Raymond B. Cuffley and Dewey W. Cuffley, both of Havre de Grace, MD, and Philip E. Wagner Jr. of Cincinnati, OH; five daughters, Joann Przelenski of Aberdeen, MD, Dolores A. Branning, Donna S. Moore, Clara C. Hall and Tammy L. Perry, all of Havre de Grace, MD; one brother, Edward Cuffley of Baltimore, MD; one sister Elsie Cuffley of Baltimore, MD; dearest friends Pat and Gil Leishman of Havre de Grace, MD, and Nellie L. Johnson of Aberdeen, MD; twenty one grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Douglas William Cuffley, Jimmy Riley, Bobby Riley, Steven Riley, Dewey Cuffley, Freddie Burkentine, Philip Wagner Jr., and Harlan Moore.
