Rene Bourgeois

Rene Bourgeois, age 57, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on March 12, 2019 at Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. Born in the City of New Orleans, LA, Orleans Parish. He was the son of Betty Ann (Michel) and the late John Gustave Bourgeois and husband of Jennifer Casper-Bourgeois. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. He was a member of the first graduating class of Harford Technical High School and employed with Academy Bus. Rene loved many genres of music, his Cajun heritage, sports and time with his family. He had an easy-going southern personality and loved to laugh. Many know Rene as the dad at the sports events who talked to everyone; a kind soul, gentle and dependable.

In addition to his mother and wife of 18 years, Mr. Bourgeois is survived by two sons, Benjamin J. and Joel A. Bourgeois of Forest Hill; two sisters, Michelle Bourgeois-Johnson of Sparks and Jeannine D. Bourgeois-Wills of Joppa; two brothers, John G. Bourgeois, Jr. of Perry Hall and Andre E. Bourgeois of Baltimore; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and his four-legged family friend, Lou.
