Raymond Plumer Sr.

Raymond Plumer Sr., age 87, of Joppa, MD, passed away on March 1, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Raspeburg, MD, he was the son of the late Henry John and Ruth Milchling Plumer. He proudly served with the U.S. Marines. He retired in 1988 after working as a heavy equipment mechanic after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, as well as the VFW in Rosedale. He also enjoyed time with family, observing nature, and was an avid card player.

Mr. Plumer is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dolores A. nee Bohdel Plumer; five children, Raymond E. Plumer Jr. and his wife, Jeanne, Michael J. Plumer Sr. and his wife, Teresa, Bernadette D. Howell and her husband, Charles, James H. Plumer and Valerie, and Barbara C. LaGrange; brother Howard Plumer and his wife Marguerite; sister Mildred Plumer; predeceased by several brothers and sisters; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
