Paulette Joyce Franz

Paulette Joyce Franz, age 75, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on January 17, 2020 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilmer and Edith May (Glendening) Simmons and wife of 53 years to Raymond N. Franz. She loved watching old TV Westerns and spending time with her granddaughter. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding and was involved in the Miss Teenage Safety Pageant.

In addition to her husband, Paulette is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Danny) Swartz and April (Kenneth) Barwick both of Bel Air; granddaughter, Amber C. Barwick; and sister, Shirley Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Simmons, Jr., and Charles and Stewart Simmons.
