Paul Jesse Witt

Paul Jesse Witt, age 78, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on January 8, 2021 in his home. Born in Lee County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Zella Mae Witt, and husband of IL Chul Witt for 47 loving years. He was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in several overseas assignments including the Vietnam War, where he was decorated with the Bronze Star among other medals, South Korea where he met his wife Chul, and in Germany. He returned to Aberdeen Proving Grounds where he retired as a Platoon Sergeant (E-7). He has called Maryland his home for the last 44 years.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his daughter, Tina Rosenbaum and brother, Lloyd “Wayne” Witt, Sr.
