Otto Julius Olsson

Otto J. Olsson, age 86, of Tucson, AZ and Bel Air, MD, died of natural causes on April 26, 2011 at Hart Heritage in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Jamaica, NY, he was the son of the late John Olaf and Margit Ellertsen Morbekk Olsson. As an architect, builder, real estate developer and entrepreneur, he owned and operated his own business.

Mr. Olsson is survived by his wife, Judy A. Olsson of Bel Air, MD; daughter Karen Olsson Strong of Chandler, AZ; sons, John Olsson of Winterville, NC; David Olsson of Eugene, OR; and Eric Olsson of Baltimore, MD; stepsons John and Jim Zangrilli, both of Forest Hill, MD; stepdaughter, Jeanne Tittle of Jarrettsville, MD; sister, Mary Mates of Boca Raton, FL; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth L. Bovee Olsson, who died on July 27, 1997.
