Oneita "Evelyn" Blevins

Oneita "Evelyn" Blevins (nee Thompson), age 86, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away on May 23, 2022 at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, Maryland. Born in Forest Hill, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Oneita (Robinson) Thompson and wife of Charles T. Blevins. Evelyn was a very social and kind person; she never met a stranger as she was known to everyone. Evelyn was Assistant Branch Manager at Forest Hill Bank, retiring after 31 years of service. She was involved in many civic organizations, a member of Centre UMC and served on several church committees. Evelyn loved the Christmas season and loved to entertain friends and family. 

In addition to her husband, Evelyn is survived by her children, Mark and Kim MacLean-Blevins, and Kevin and Maggie Blevins; brothers, Robert R. Thompson, C. Ronald Thompson, James C. Thompson; sister, Linda V. Cook; grandchildren, Rebekah A. Weikers, Abigail O. MacLean-Blevins, Jacob T. MacLean-Blevins, Katherine G. MacLean-Blevins, Dorothy R. MacLean-Blevins, Caroline F. MacLean-Blevins, Danielle N. Blevins, Garrett S. Blevins, and Anna Freed; great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Jeremiah, and MJ; Wesley and Taylor; Ariana and Addison; Alex and Makinley. In addition, she is survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by sisters E. Elaine Almony, Pauline E. Engle, Nancy L. Billings; brothers Milton Thompson Jr., William G. Thompson, and John N. Thompson; and grandchildren Ian D. MacLean-Blevins and Benjamin S. MacLean-Blevins.
