Norman Allison Heck

March 3, 1954 — September 22, 2005

NORMAN ALLISON HECK, age 51, of Joppa, died at the Baltimore VA Medical Center on September 22, 2005. Born in Townsend, Delaware, he was the son of the late Earl Allison and Clytie Arica Heck. He worked as an operating engineer of heavy equipment. He was a member of the American Legion and had served his country in the U.S. Navy as a diver. He was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed his cats and dogs. He was a huge Civil War fan and traveled to all the battlefields and collected books.

Mr. Heck is survived by his wife of six years, Teresa L. Fitzpatrick; one son, Dale Allison Heck of Joppa; one step-son, Michael J. Fitzpatrick of Joppa; two step-daughters, Tiffany R. Fitzpatrick of Wilmington, Delaware and Nicole L. Fitzpatrick of Perryville; two step-grandsons. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a step-father, Richard Hall.
