Norma (Ninny) Jean Pritt

March 26, 1935 — July 17, 2007

NORMA “NINNY” JEAN PRITT, age 72, of Edgewood, MD, died on July 17, 2007 at her home. Born in Walkersville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Clifton Sherman and Minnie Mealey Vankirk and wife of the late Bobby Ward Pritt Sr. Formerly of Walkersville, WV, she was a clerical worker in the automotive industry. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts and loved to build things. She also enjoyed music and poetry. Of Methodist faith, she had a great sense of humor and loved to spend time with her family.

Mrs. Pritt is survived by two sons, Douglas Eugene Pritt Sr. and his wife, Terry, of Havre de Grace, MD, and Timothy J. Pritt and his wife, Jennifer, of Crawford, WV; three daughters, Deborah Anne Cox and her husband, Edward, of Aberdeen, MD, Patricia L. Elliott and her husband, Wayne, of Edgewood, MD, and Lisa K. Wagner, and her husband, Tom, of Aberdeen, MD; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Pritt of Delta, PA; one brother, Clifford Sherman Vankirk of Weston, WV; one sister, Judy Carol Stalnaker of Weston, WV; fifteen grandchildren, Dawn Kennedy of Aberdeen, MD, Victor Slacum of Rising Sun, MD, Bobbie Pritt and Kaitlyn Pritt, both of Delta, PA, Joey Weaver, DJ Pritt, and Aaron Pritt, all of Havre de Grace, MD, Tabitha Pritt of Baltimore, MD, Tracey Witzell of Northeast, MD, Crystal Pritt of Baltimore, MD, Darrell “Chip” Kisner and Amanda Kisner, both of Edgewood, MD, Chester Simpson Jr. of Buckhannon, WV, Nickolas Simpson and Aleasha “Sunshine” Wagner, both of Aberdeen, MD; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Bobby W. Pritt Jr. and a sister, Beaulah Mae Hyre.
