Nancy Ryan Lagan

Nancy Ryan Lagan, age 83, died peacefully on August 23, 2021. Born in Fallston, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Orville and Olga (Wimmer) Ryan and wife of the late James Andrew Lagan. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Maynard, Kenneth, Donald and John.

Nancy grew up on the family farm on Pleasantville Road and graduated from Bel Air High School. She worked for a number of years as a school secretary at Fallston High School and was later an administrative assistant for Harford County Public Schools Fine Arts department. Nancy loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was an avid gardener, crafter, and baker.

Loving mother of three children; Shari Walker (John) of Cape Coral, FL, Tom (Lori), and Rick (Dawn) of Bel Air; six grandchildren; Katie Walker of Spring, TX, Michael Walker (Cari) of Clover, SC, Nicole and Kari Lagan of Bel Air, and Andrew and Sean Lagan of Bel Air; and two great granddaughters, Anna and Zoey Walker of Clover, SC. She is also survived by her two sisters, Margaret Snider and Irene Littleton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
