Nancy Elizabeth Rollinger

Nancy Elizabeth Rollinger (née Thompson), age 72, of Abingdon, MD passed away on February 15, 2021 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Md. Born in South Dakota, Nancy was the daughter of the late Leo and Velma (McVay) Thompson and wife of John “Jim” Rollinger Jr. She was a graduate of Mount De Sales High School in Catonsville, Md and Harford Community College. She was devoted to St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church in Abingdon, MD and the Secular Franciscan Order, St. Michael the Archangel Fraternity.
Nancy is survived by; her loving husband, John “Jim” Rollinger Jr.; sons, John J. Rollinger III and wife Alexis, Jeffery Rollinger; sisters Priscilla Walton, Dianna Thomsen, AnaLiesa Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death be her brother, Philip Thompson.
The family is hosting a memorial mass tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Abingdon, MD.
