Morris W. Clifton

Morris W. Clifton, age 83, of Edgewood, MD passed away on January 16, 2019 at his home. Born in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of George and Helen (Genus) Clifton and husband of Charlene (Walker) Clifton for over 19 years. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist church where he was very involved. He has lived in Maryland for over 30 years and was an excellent bowler on multiple bowling leagues, including the Aberdeen bowling league and the Edgewood league. He loved to work outside in the yard, particularly gardening and planting where ever he could find a spot. His favorite show was The Young and the Restless, but he also enjoyed winding down the day with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Clifton is survived by daughter, Terri Anderson, of Indianapolis, IN; three sons, Anthony Clifton of Charlotte, NC, Maurae Clifton of Belcamp, and Tyrone Clifton of Sterling, VA; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Nola Brown, Lillie Belle Floyd; brother, George Clifton, Jr.; and daughter, Rhonda June.
