Minnie Ruth Piper

Minnie Ruth Piper, age 89, of Havre de Grace, Maryland passed away on January 30, 2021 at her home. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of Harry and Anna (Cullum) Neidlein and wife of the late Milton "Tim" Underwood Piper. She was a member of Cranberry United Methodist Church in Perryman, a member of the MOOSE Lodge in Aberdeen, where she was a Senior Regent.

She had worked for Ames department store where she started as a cashier and worked her way up to cash office manager for over 30 years. She then worked in the cafeteria for Harford County Public Schools for 15 years. Minnie enjoyed playing games on the computer and she had a card group and a Bunko group.

Minnie is survived by her daughter, Patricia Mays of Red Lion, PA; two sons, Dale Piper and wife Lynn of Aberdeen and Kevin Piper of Havre de Grace; one sister and one brother; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Piper.
