Mina C. Anderson

Mina C. Anderson, age 81, of Churchville, MD, died on February 18, 2011 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Scarbortown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Hulda Hipkins Fickus and wife of the late Wayne Howard Anderson. She worked for Harford County Public Schools where she had been the school nurse at Meadowvale Elementary in Havre de Grace. She enjoyed traveling and was the owner and operator of Backdoor Antiques in Bel Air for 21 years.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her sons, Stephen H. Anderson of Havre de Grace, MD, Thomas F. Anderson of Topeka, KS, Michael P. Anderson of Erie, CO, and J. David Anderson of Holly Springs, NC; sisters, Lana Gorrea of Dublin, MD and Gertrude Smith of Newark, DE; and four grandchildren.
