Mary "Mitzi" Drabik

Mary "Mitzi" Drabik, age 85, of Joppa, MD, passed away on February 27, 2013 at the Maples of Towson Assisted Living in Towson, MD. Born in Bloomfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Theodozya Rachel Gunick and wife, for 65 years, of the late Lester J. Drabik. She was a licensed beautician and homemaker. Mitzi was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her daughter and two granddaughters. She was very involved in the Joppatowne community. She was an active member in the Joppatowne Woman's Club since 1971, holding the office of Woman's Club President and headed many of the committees over her years of involvement. She also was active with her husband, Les with the Joppatowne Lion's Club. Mitzi was talented and enjoyed many crafts. Throughout her years she enjoyed bowling leagues, cooking, entertaining, travel, family gatherings and her poodles.

Mitzi is survived by her daughter, Deborah DeGraw and husband, Robert, of Fallston, MD; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Katlyn DeGraw. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.

Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ at a later date.
