Mary Concetta Centineo

Mary Concetta (Culotta) Centineo, 71, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 10, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Albert Sr. and Regina Marie (Hagan) Culotta and wife of the late John Barry Centineo of 45 years of marriage. A graduate of Seton High School in 1961, she worked at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD for 8 years in medical records. At the age of 42, she became a LPN at Central Community College Hastings in Kearney, NE and worked at Johns Hopkins Health System at Wyman Park Medical Center Internal Medicine in Baltimore, MD before retiring in 2006 with 15 years of service. She was a mother of two Eagle Scouts, assistant Girl Scout leader in Aberdeen for 5 years, was involved with the Candle Lighters Alliance and helped out with the Aberdeen Coed Softball, where she was known as "Mrs. C". She was a CCD teacher at St. James Catholic Church in Kearney, NE for 3 years and for 22 years at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Aberdeen, MD.

Mrs. Centineo is survived by her children, Mary Joe Molina and husband Fred, of Kearney, NE, Michele C. Diaz and husband Tomas, of Joppatowne, MD, John P. Centineo and wife Debbie, of Cleveland, OH, Joseph A. Centineo of Bel Air, MD, Penelope L. Centineo of Frederick, MD and Christopher P. Centineo of York, PA; siblings, Patricia A. Jackson and Joann R. Gahler of Baltimore, MD, Joseph A. Culotta Jr. of Dover, PA, Christine Kemp of Annapolis, MD, and Loretta Pacifico of Fallston, MD; godfather (uncle), Samuel A. Culotta, Esq. of Baltimore, MD; 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren expected in 2015. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, James Nicholas Centineo II and sister, Sharon E. Culotta.

Pallbearers will be John P. Centineo, Joseph A. Centineo, Christopher P. Centineo, Tomas R. Diaz, Fred Molina, Justin L. Molina, Manuel S. Molina, Tomas F. Diaz, John D. Centineo, James R. Centineo and honorary pallbearer Samuel A. Culotta, Esq.
