Marie Theresa Breen

Marie Theresa Breen, age 74, of Bel Air, MD, went home to be with Jesus on May 9, 2014 in her home, surrounded by family. Born in Dublin, Ireland, she was the daughter of Michael Francis and Mary Kate Dolan. She left her beloved homeland in 1958 and came to the United States. She lived in Philadelphia where she worked for British Airways and Pan Am Airlines. In 1971 she moved to Harford County where she worked for Montgomery Wards in the drapery department and at the Plumtree branch of Provident Bank from where she retired in 2010 after 20 years of service. Marie loved her family, especially her grandchildren and granddog Abbey. Marie was strong in her faith in the Lord and always ready to lend a hand to help others. She loved family gatherings during the holidays and enjoyed her garden, cooking, baking, and singing in the St. Ignatius Choir. Marie loved the ladies of her Bunco group, all longtime friends that she played with for over 40 years. From the time she was a little girl, she loved sports.

Marie is the beloved wife of Joseph Breen, her husband of 50 years, devoted mother to Christine and husband Daniel Cole of Forest Hill, Carol and husband Bob Townsend of Abingdon, and Janet of Forest Hill, loving sister to Kay McCloskey of Marmora, NJ and adoring grandmother of Daniel Cole, Brendan Cole, Taylor Cole, James Townsend and Brady Townsend.
