Margaret L. Crumley

Margaret L. Crumley, age 60, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on July 8, 2022, at her home. Born on September 28, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Gottfred Byer Jr. and Roseann (Fonte) Byer.

Margaret enjoyed cooking and baking, especially during the holidays, her favorite time of the year. She enjoyed watching her beloved Orioles and Ravens. She spent most of her time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, especially to beaches, but her favorite place will always be Ocean City in August with her family.    

Margaret is survived by her husband, Hubert Crumley Jr.; daughter, Sarah C. Crumley and significant partner Lukas Bennett and his son Jase Bennett; siblings, Michael Byer and sister-in-law, Sandy, Donna Byer Los, Julie Wiseman and brother-in-law, Scott and Richard Byer; and nieces and nephews, Linwood Lee IV, Christopher Church, Elizabeth Miranda, Ronald Los Jr., Justin Church, Kayla Wiseman, Charles Wiseman Jr., Alexander Los, Abigail Joseph and Richard Byer Jr.

She was predeceased by Gottfred and Margaret Byer, John and Seraphina “Fannie” Fonte and Jason Church.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at the funeral home at 11 am.
