Margaret J. Pinkus

November 30, 1933 — May 14, 2021

Margaret Jeannette Pinkus, age 87, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away peacefully on May 14, 2021 at her granddaughter’s home in Bel Air, MD. The family is forever grateful to Addie and Glenn for providing a loving place for her final days. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Addie L. (Kolb) Hoffman and wife of the late William Edward Pinkus.

Marge was a fan of fashion. She loved clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry and was always dressed to perfection. She was an avid Baltimore Colts fan and active member and past President of Colt’s Corral #1 of Baltimore. She worked as a bookkeeper for construction and HVAC companies until her retirement at the age of 75. She was an avid reader and enjoyed historical novels, biographies, and anything by Nora Roberts. She enjoyed vacations with her family, especially to Disney World, Ocean City, Williamsburg and other historical sites. Prior to COVID, Sunday brunch with family and day trips to Pennsylvania Dutch Country were routine. Marge and Bill enjoyed live shows and dinners in PA theaters until his passing in 2012. Her favorite times were anytime spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her five children, Mark E. Pinkus and his wife, Maureen, Cynthia L. Perro and her husband, Randy, Cathi J. Hild and husband, Richard, Lauren F. Waesche, and Susan J. Martin and husband, Larry, her loving grandchildren, R.J., Randi, Rick, Randy, Rachel, Drew, Megan, Mikes, Addie, Glenn, Paul, Tom, Dave, Tyler, Geri, Jed, and John, and her adored great grandchildren Georgia, Gavin, Mia, Graham, Vera, Blake, Gwyneth, Lyza, Gracie, Penelope and Gabriel.
