Luz Del Rosario Guanzon

Luz Del Rosario Guanzon, age 89, of Joppa, MD, passed away on May 14, 2013 at her home. Born in Marikina City, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Vicente and Florentina Santos Del Rosario and wife of the late Rodolfo H. Guanzon Sr. She retired, after 30years, from the Manila Public School System in the Philippines where she was a teacher. An avid traveler and gardener, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and watching Philippine Drama (Teleserye) television programs.

Mrs. Guanzon is survived by her sons, Rodolfo Guanzon Jr. and wife, Susan, of San Ramon, CA and Bob Guanzon and wife, Nenita, of Joppa, MD; daughters, Maria Supan and husband, Ben, of Abingdon, MD and Rebecca Enriquez and husband, Ceferino, of Old Bridge, NJ; sister, Ester S. Del Rosario of Marikina City, Philippines; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Ruben S. Del Rosario Sr.; and sisters, Araceli S. Del Rosario, Edelmira Gutierrez and Lydia Dinoso.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Marc Enriquez, Marty Enriquez, Benjie Supan, Ronnie Supan, Biboy Guanzon, Marlo Enriquez, Marby Enriquez, Vince Supan and Robby Guanzon.
