Lucille Viola Buchanan

LUCILLE VIOLA BUCHANAN, age 80, of Forest Hill, MD, died on July 17, 2007 at Mariner Health and Rehabilitation, Forest Hill, MD. Born in Abingdon, MD, she was the daughter of the late Howard “Nap” Arthur and Viola Serina Hollingsworth Norton and wife of the late Granville Anthony Buchanan. She loved to cook and entertain and enjoyed bingo and reading.

Mrs. Buchanan is survived by three sons, James C. Buchanan of Bel Air, MD, Melvin D. Buchanan of Edgewood, MD, and Robert L. Buchanan of Forest Hill, MD; four daughters, Patricia E. Buchanan of Forest Hill, MD, Beverly A. Buchanan of Belcamp, MD, Valarie B. Robinson of Edgewood, MD, and Terri L. Buchanan of Forest Hill, MD; a sister, Mildred Norton of Baltimore, MD; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Harold G. Buchanan, and seven brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were James Buchanan Jr., Darick Buchanan, James Greene Jr., Stephen Lampkin Jr., Terence Hickman, Regis Buchanan, Edwin Hibbs, Robert Tisdale, and Stephen Lampkin Sr.
