Lorraine Connolly

Lorraine Connolly, age 80, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on February 21, 2023 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Clifton and Mercedes (Snyder) Miner and wife of the late John Connolly. Lorraine was a caregiver all her life and loved caring for other people. She cared for aging and ill family members as well as young children in her daycare. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic minister for many years. She loved to travel and has been all over the world. A talented seamstress, Lorraine enjoyed sewing clothes for her children and many household items including purses and pillows. Lorraine enjoyed quilting and she would embroider anything that didn't have a logo on it! She loved cooking, gardening, watching movies and eating crabs with her family.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Rachel Neral and Carrie (Steve) Jester; granddaughter, Kara Jester; and brother, Bill Miner.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jeff Neral.
