Linda Faye Wrencher

February 22, 1952 — August 1, 2021

Ms. Linda Faye Wrencher, daughter of the late Wiley JB (Bill) Wilson and Rubell Wilson was born February 22, 1952 in Hookerton, North Carolina. God called her to eternal rest on Sunday August 1, 2021.

Linda was educated in NC and received her diploma from the Job Corps. She moved to Maryland and started working for the Dept. of Defense at Fort Holabird. Later she became a valuable member of the U.S. Army Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground where she provided outstanding assistance to soldiers and civilians of the US Army. She retired as a Systems Administrator GS-12 after 41 years of service.

Linda was a giving person even though she seemed hard, she had a heart of gold. She was a believer in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She loved family, friends, music, movies and sports (golf (Tiger Woods), basketball, tennis, and bowling).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Geoffrey Carl Wilson II.

Linda leaves to cherish her fond memories: her children gained through the union of her ex-husband, John Wrencher: one son Geoffrey Carl (Shray) Wilson of Cockeysville, MD, one daughter Danielle Trinett (Tiffany) Wrencher of Stanwood, WA, two brothers Jimmy Lee (Louise) Wilson of Elgin, TX and Wiley Wilson Jr. of Essex, MD, two sister Carolyn Evone Peppers of Bailey, NC and Mary Ann (Belvin) Millner of Columbus, GA, one granddaughter Devora Ruth Wilson, a special nephew Jay Wilson, three aunts Shirley Torres of Bronx, NY, Ora Lee Outlaw of Kinston, NC and Connie Holmes of Thomasville, NC and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In Life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
All filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
An each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right there in your heart.
