Libby Wrede

Libby Wrede, age 87, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away on January 18, 2020 at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Forest Hill, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Margaret B.(Ward) Hicks and wife of 64 years to Donald Edward Wrede. In her younger years she was very athletic and was an avid softball player. She also had an artistic side and used that talent to create beautiful floral arrangements for herself and her family. Through her love of animals, Libby began supporting Animal Rescue Incorporated in New Freedom, PA making sure that their residents found loving and caring forever homes.

In addition to her husband, Libby is survived by son, Brian F. Wrede of Forest Hill and his wife, Kit; and niece, Donna Crouse and her husband, David.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lester, Wheeler, and John Hicks.
