Kenneth Wiley Turner

February 13, 1952 — September 8, 2010

Kenneth Wiley Turner, age 58, of Aberdeen, MD, died on September 8, 2010 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Nancy Irene Worrell Turner. He retired, after 35 years, from Perry Point VA Medical Center, where he was assistant fire chief. He volunteered at Level Volunteer Fire Department where he was past chief and a life member, and at Aberdeen Volunteer Fire Department where he was currently Captain and Education Officer. An avid golfer, he loved Havre de Grace High School where he was the "Voice of the Warriors" for 25 years.

Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Julie Ann Sang of Aberdeen, MD; sons, Christopher Michael Turner of Havre de Grace, MD; stepson, Michael Jonathan Myers of Clemmons, NC; stepdaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Jones of Aberdeen, MD; brothers, Bill Turner of Myrtle Beach, SC, Phil Turner of Rising Sun, MD, and Ron Turner of Havre de Grace, MD; sisters, Susie Woods, Nancy Testerman, and Wanda Albers, all of Havre de Grace, MD; two grandchildren, Ayden Elizabeth Myers and Zachary Daniel Brewer, both of Clemmons, NC; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Connie Workinger.
