Keith Randolph Proudfoot passed away November 13, 2020. He was the son of the Late Glen and Emma Proudfoot of Edgewood, Maryland. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eleanor Simmons Proudfoot and their three children, Kim Moore and her husband, Bill, Karen Barben and her husband, Paul and Steph Caldwell. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Allison Holston and her husband, Ben, Travis Moore and his wife, Kathryn, Ian Moore, Jacob Barben, Joshua Barben and his wife Megan, Bailey Caldwell and Conner Caldwell and one great grandson, Luke Barben.

Keith was born September 13, 1936 in Philippi, West Virginia. He moved to Harford County in 1937, residing in Edgewood. Keith graduated from Bel Air High School in 1954 where he played football and baseball for 4 years and basketball for 3 years. He earned 11 varsity letters during High School and in 1952, he won the Athlete of the year for Harford County. From 1954 - 1958, he attended the University of Maryland where he played football for his beloved Terrapins. After college, he served in the army and was stationed in Germany from 1958-1960. He went on to work for State Farm insurance where he remained for 43 years until his retirement in 2004.

Keith enjoyed gardening, woodworking, watching Maryland football and basketball, the Baltimore Orioles and especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play their many sports.

A private family service will be held at Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, MD. We will celebrate his life the way he wanted - at a Pig Roast to be held in the future.
