Joyce Carol Austin

Joyce Carol Austin, a resident of Fallston, MD, died at the age of 69 on October 21, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was born in Oreland, PA to Thomas Paul and Dorothy Iona (Fahrenholtz) Atkinson. She had worked as a medical secretary and was a member of Fallston United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Fallston Women's Club. She liked bowling, tennis, playing cards and enjoyed all activities with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Austin is survived by her husband of 49 years, Albert G. Austin; her children, Brian N. Austin and wife, Jessica, of Perry Hall and Albert E. Austin and wife, Kelly, of Millersville; sisters, Elaine Martindell and Etta Humphreys both of South Hampton, PA, Linda Gruenewald of Ormond Beach, FL and twin sister, Janet Smith of Feasterville Trevose, PA; and grandchildren, Carter Austin, Kendall Austin, Palmer Austin, Blake Austin and Mackenzie Austin. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Atkinson.
