Joseph Carl Whitaker, Jr.

JOSEPH CARL WHITAKER, JR., age 47, of Churchville, MD, died on January 24, 2006 at Harford Memorial Hospital. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Joseph Carl Sr., and Jane Arlene Wilfong Whitaker of Churchville. He was a lab technician for Cytec Industries of Havre de Grace. Mr. Whitaker was an avid boater and Oakland Raiders fan, who loved traveling, the outdoors, fishing and his dog, Raider.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife of 12 years, Cindy Kohoskie Whitaker, of Churchville; one son, Joseph C. Whitaker, III, and his wife Danielle, of Smithville, VA; two sisters, Carolyn V. DuVall and Camellia W. Warrington, both of Bel Air, MD; and his grandmother, Lillian Dahmer, of Lewisburg, WV.

Pallbearers will be William A. Street, Jr., Joseph C. Whitaker, III, Todd L. Robinson, Bet J. Robinson, Robert J. Matarozza, and Matthew R. Matarozza.
