John William Bartfai

John Bartfai, age 81, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on October 28, 2019 at his home. Born in Filbert, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Willie Bartfai and Mary (Horvath) Bartfai-Barr. He worked as a machine operator for Bata Shoe Company. He loved fishing and hunting, spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

John is survived by his wife Delma Bartfai; daughters, Connie Hathaway and Mary Bartfai; grandchildren, Brenda McVey, Charlene Testerman, Sabrina Testerman and Corey Hathaway; great grandchildren, Caleb Cole, Amirah Amos, Jazz and Katana McVey, Emrik Klug, Paisley Hathaway, Scarlett Genna and Anastasia Stevens; sisters, JoAnn Wilson, Juanita Fain, Sue Barr and Margie South; and brother, Lewis Barr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Barr, Jr.
