John S. "Jack" Houser

John S. "Jack" Houser, age 83, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on December 5, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born on July 26, 1935, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James and Hazel (Warlick) Houser.

He was a graduate of the University of Baltimore. Jack retired from the United States Air Force and as a Civilian Employee at Aberdeen Proving Ground. After retirement, he and his wife enjoyed spending winters in Florida and summers in Ocean City, MD. He enjoyed various sports such as golf, tennis, racquetball, bowling and ping pong and loved watching sports. He enjoyed sharing good times with family and friends and was always the life of the party.

Jack is survived by his wife of 33 years, Charlotte Houser; children, Eric Houser and his wife, Sherry, of New Freedom, PA; Sandy Worthington and her husband, Frank, of Havre de Grace, MD; Sheri Moore and her husband, Jim, of Havre de Grace, MD; grandchildren Joshua and Logan Houser, Noah Worthington and Nicole Moore; sister, Gwendolyn Brainard, of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
