John Lee Lalik

John Lee Lalik, age 86, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on April 20, 2018 at Hart Heritage Estates-Forest Hill in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Logan, West Virginia, he was the son of Alex Filmore Lalik Sr. and Lola (Ellis) Lalik. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served his country during the Korean War. He was a 35 year veteran of the Baltimore City Fire Department where he retired as a Lieutenant. He loved his family, and lived for his son and grandchildren. He loved vehicles and bought new ones often. He was a carpenter who enjoyed building and remodeling.

Mr. Lalik is survived by son, Robert M. Lalik, Sr. of Joppa, MD; daughter-in-law, Jane Lalik; two grandchildren, Robert M. Lalik, Jr. and Rachel Hamilton; three step-grandchildren, Megan McBride, Andrew Bradley, and Sean Bradley; four great-granddaughters, Jenna Lawrence, Abigail Lalik, Airella Lalik, and Ava Bornman; and a great grandson on the way.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son John Lee Lalik, Jr. and his seven siblings.
