John James Jones, Jr.

John James Jones, Jr., age 87, of Dagsboro, Delaware passed away on November 29, 2022 at his home. Born in Baltimore County, Maryland, he was the son of John Jones, Sr. and Florence (Ayres) Jones and husband of the late Velma (Parlett) Jones. He retired in 1990 from Baltimore County Public Schools where he worked in the facilities department for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and spending time with his grandchildren.

John is survived by his daughters, Robin (Randy) Dixon of Dagsboro, DE and Kimberly (Phillip, Sr.) A. DeMarr of Pylesville; grandchildren, Tiffany Fitzpatrick, Crystal Howell, Phillip DeMarr, Jr., John DeMarr and Cody Dixon; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Frank Jones; sister, Carol Farver; and sister-in-law, Marie Dilworth.
