John ''Jd'' D. Stepp Sr.

John "JD" D. Stepp, Sr., age 78, of Bel Air, MD passed away on June 12, 2018 at his home. Born in Hendersonville, NC, he was the son of Albert and Bertha (Gibbs) Stepp and husband of the late Gladys M. Stepp. He owned and operated Johnny's Deli in Northeast Market on Monument Street in Baltimore where he worked his whole life. Johnny was well known for his fine quality of meats for over 50 years. The family enjoyed getting to know the customers and other vendors while working there on the weekends.

Mr. Stepp is survived by son, John D. Stepp, Jr. of Bel Air; two daughters, Renee M. Stepp of Forest Hill and Dawn L. Rappold of Charlotte, NC; son-in-law, Joseph T. Rappold; two granddaughters, Hope Kathleen Walter and Danielle Stepp; grandson, Trent Joseph Rappold; Renee's Partner, Janet E. Neely; one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Stepp, Kathleen Hill, Doris Smith and Carolyn Nocar.
