Joel Nicholas Bachand

Very few people in life have the uncanny ability to make everyone’s day brighter, to command the attention of every room they enter, to show unending love to all, to find the best in everyone, and to make a large loving family comprised of friends that would’ve never met otherwise. Joel Bachand had that ability.

Joel Nicholas Bachand, age 28, of Abingdon, MD passed away on June 28, 2019. He is the best friend and husband of Rachel (Pietrogiacomo) Bachand.

In addition to his wife, Joel is survived by his daughter, Ellie Ivy Bachand; sister, Heather Locklear; and close friends, Ian Nelson, Ryan Binas, Shannon Boeder, Nikki Shepherd, Alex Wiitala, Ayano Heckner, and Lauren Campion.
