Joann Mann

July 15, 1937 — January 28, 2022

JoAnn Mann, age 84, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away at home from complications of Parkinson’s Disease on January 28, 2022.  Born in Unionville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Faris) Lehning and the wife of Ray Mann. 


 


She was a past dance instructor for Bel Air, Aberdeen & Edgewood Senior Centers.  She retired in 2002 as Administrator of Rock Spring Village Assisted Living after 10 years of service and previously was the first Administrator of the Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Towne Baptist Church. JoAnn & Ray celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on January 26, 2022.  JoAnn enjoyed dancing, exercising with Rock Steady Boxing, fishing, swimming, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.       


 


JoAnn is survived by her husband Ray Mann; daughters, Cathy (Don) DeLorenz, Carla Evans, Cynthia (Ashley) Card, Christy McKinzie; a son, Carroll (Lee) Mann; grandchildren, Alyssa (Ryon) Maree, Chelsea & Cara DeLorenz, Jesse (Brittany) & Lucas Whisnant, Patrick & Adam Mann, Anastasia (Shawn) Swearingen, Melanie (Micah) & Justine Feaster, Alicia Flores, Ciara, Maya & Anthony McKinzie; great-grandchildren, Demi Swift, Liam & Cole Swearingen, Vincenzo & Niccolo Whisnant, and Joan Maree.
