Jerry H. Griffith

Jerry Howard Griffith, beloved husband, father, son, and brother.

Served honorably as an Armor Officer in the US Army for over 10 years reaching the rank of Captain. He continued to serve his country in a civilian capacity holding IT positions at the National Archives and Records Administration and the Department of Treasury.
Jerry was a Master Barber and a licensed Realtor. He owned and operated a barber shop in Edgewood, MD for several years. He trained and mentored aspiring barbers.

Jerry held bachelor degrees in Biology from Jackson State University and in Medical Technology from Morgan State University. He was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity and a Mason.

Jerry liked to stay up on the latest technology and was always open to trying new things. He loved sports and was a loyal Ravens and Orioles fan.

He leaves to mourn wife, Rhonda, children Ne'Tarsha, Geronetta, Latoria (Marcus), Jerry Jr. (Crystal), Naomi (Edward), and Jeremy, 10 grandchildren, a loving mother Catherine, and his brother, Jimmie. His father, Howard, preceded him in death.

Services will also take place in Magee, MS on Friday, December 30, 2016 with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Prentiss, MS.
